Meet the Author & Illustrator
Kristin & Derek are a husband-and-wife team and the creators of Brudders Books. Kristin believes the greatest lessons come from storytelling that meets children right where they’re at. Derek, an award-winning watercolorist, struggled to read as a child and has dedicated his career to helping kids learn through quality illustrations. Together, they create, hand-write, hand-paint, and independently publish this series from their homebase in Tampa, Florida. Each book takes about 2 years to complete.
